About Blackcatloner

For starters, the name “” is defined as “one lone cat against a big bad world.” I originally came up with the name blackcatloner when I was creating my email address on Yahoo. To break down the name for you: “Black cat” because I have a black cat, and “loner” because it is my public persona. I didn’t expect to become as active on the Internet as I am now. I was originally going to use the email address as part of a project rather than as a blogger and YouTube video maker that I eventually ended up becoming. Before I knew it, I decided to create a whole new persona for myself.

And here’s a little more about me. I originally hail from Red Hook, a town in the Hudson Valley about two hours north of New York City. I currently reside in Herkimer, a town in central New York not far from the city of Utica. I have been writing for years and I have been an Internet blogger since February 2006, first starting on the now-extinct Yahoo 360 site before establishing this blog on the website blogger.com in the spring of 2007. I also operated two other sites on Blogger, one of which is still going strong. In addition to being a blogger, I also make videos on YouTube that are seen by people all over the world and I am pretty much everywhere on the Internet, including Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter, while at the same time still trying to maintain some semblance of a normal life.

The purpose of this blog, both here as it was on the other site, is to chronicle my adventures both on the web and on the road of life, not to mention showcase any new YouTube video I make. So hope to have you around for the long run because after all, I am truly “one lone cat against a big bad world.”
