Q & A: Justin Beiber Dumped By Katy Perry at the Jersey Shore

Okay, everyone, I am back with my latest Q & A. However, all the questions I got asked this week were from Formspring.me because I didn’t really get asked anything on Myyearbook. So without further ado, let’s get started.

Q: Who’s the most overrated musician?

A: Definitely Justin Beiber.

Q: What’s your favorite type of flower?

A: Red rose.

Q: What was your favorite thing to do during recess at school?

A: Play outside.

Q: What do you fear?

A: Failure and rejection.

Q: What’s your favorite Marvel superhero?

A: Spider-Man, of course.

Q: Staring at women’s breasts can make you live longer!

A: Now this may not be a question, but I’ll respond anyway by saying, “SWEET!”

Q: Eminem is life! Don’t you agree?

A: Hell, yeah! Slim Shady FTW!

Q: Have you dated someone you met online?

A: Interestingly enough, I have met only two women in person that I initially met online. It didn’t work out with either one, but I still have them as friends.

Q: Would you ever move away from YouTube to another vlogging site such as LetsVlog?

A: I was planning to do some videos on LetsVlog when I signed up for it last year, but I never got around to it. I also tried BlogTV but that didn’t work. I have blip.tv where I upload The Adventures of Blackcatloner videos every Friday but other than that, I would have to say I’m gonna be sticking with YouTube for the time being.

Q: What do you think of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” and “One of the Boys” albums? Which one did you like better?

A: “One of the Boys” was good, but “Teenage Dream” is even better, especially since I can’t get the title song out of my head.

Q: What hobbies do you have? Are you a gamer, a comic book nerd or a movie buff?

A: I’m gonna answer this in two parts. 1) I write, work out (although I have been slacking in that area because I work overnights but should get back into it again), and of course all my online activities (blogging, YouTube, social networking, etc.) 2) I’m not a gamer (mostly because I can’t afford it) but I collected comic books in high school and I am in fact a movie buff. In fact, last weekend, I saw the latest “Fast and the Furious” film, “Fast Five.” It was awesome.

Q: What are your thoughts on chivalry? Is it dead?

A: Unfortunately yes.

Q: Have you abandoned MySpace like almost everyone else has or do you still keep your MySpace page running out of sympathy?

A: I still have my Myspace (all three of them) up, but I’m not on there anymore. Thank you, Mark Zuckerberg. Facebook and Twitter FTW!

Q: Were you ever a teacher’s pet?

A: Not really.

Q: Did you ever have a teacher who picked on you?

A: I’ve had a couple.

Q: Adamantium is supposed to be unbreakable and can’t be destroyed. Therefore, could Superman break Wolverine’s skeleton? Or could Wolverine’s claws pierce Superman’s skin?

A: Probably one question that will never be answered, even by the most experienced comic book aficionado.

Q: Does the Dark Side really have cookies?

A: Yeah. Chocolate chip ones.

Q: What sort of cell phone do you have? If you don’t have one, which one would you like to have? What are the requirements that a phone must have for you to want to have it?

A: I have a Verizon Prepaid phone which I’ve had for just over a month and it is really awesome. I am able to hang out online (specifically Facebook and Twitter) whereever I am and it is also a camera phone. ๐Ÿ™‚

Q: If you could drink only one thing for a year and it couldn’t be water, what would you drink?

A: Pepsi.

Q: Where’d you find out about formspring.me?

A: My YouTube peeps.

Q: Who’s the sexiest woman alive?

A: Definitely not an easy question…

Q: Would you rather be a famous musician or a famous actor?

A: Famous actor. Can’t sing to save my life.

Q: Would you rather get up early or sleep late?

A: Sleep late.

Q: What was the last book you read?

A: “A Shore Thing” by Snooki. Yes, I’m a Jersey Shore fan. Deal with it. Plus a little tidbit: I come from the same area of NY (Hudson Valley/Poughkeepsie area) as Snooki.

Q: What’s the most unselfish thing you’ve ever done?

A: ย Well, last week I gave a dollar to a diabetic woman for a soda because she looked like she was about to have a stroke.

Q: What would your dream vacation be?

A: A return trip to Puerto Rico.

Q:What’s the oldest piece of clothing you still own and wear?

A: My Terminator shades from high school.

Q: Who’s your favorite character on The Office?

A: Michael Scott. Good luck, Steve Carell. ๐Ÿ™‚

Q: Do you believe there’s intelligent life on other planets?

A: I’m sure there is.

Q: What’s the furthest place you’ve ever traveled to?

A: Puerto Rico.

Q: If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?

A: I have to pick one? That’s a hard one. lol

Q: If you could have the starring role in one movie what would it be?

A: An action movie.

And the last question comes from a question-asking Facebook app, friend.ly:

Q: If you opened a restaurant, what would your house specialty be?

A: Anything Italian, mainly because I love Italian food.

And there you have it. The latest Q & A is now officially in the books. Remember, if you want to ask me anything and don’t have a Formspring account, you can ask in the comment section either here on the blog or on the YouTube video page. Remember, no offensive comments will be accepted.

Keep On Trekking

Oh, my god. Another month has pretty much gone by without a post from me. I guess that’s what happens when you gain in popularity. I haven’t even been back to my new site yet to do more updating. Not that I’ve been idle to begin with. I am still making videos for YouTube and I am getting ready to get back to work on my book since I found out that my competitor won’t have his book out till next year. So probably by next week I will be back to work on the book I kept putting off in favor of my growing success on the web.

However, I still managed to find some time out of my busy schedule to go see the new Star Trek movie and do a review on it for YouTube and it is the best Star Trek film since Wrath of Khan. I have sort of been a Trekkie on and off and I was among the disillusioned that felt that the Next Generation spinoffs and the Enterprise TV series ran the franchise into the ground. Well, I gotta tell you, this new movie was totally awesome and I like the fact that they decided to give the franchise the reboot it really needed. If only George Lucas’ Star Wars prequels could have been like this.

I have a couple little things that I have on the horizon in addition to getting back to work on the book. Next weekend, I’m supposed to go to Ilion Little Theater’s latest play, “On Golden Pond.” I’m still not sure if they saw the video I made of the last play they were in. Then the week after that, I have to housesit for my parents while they go away for that weekend so that means I probably won’t have too much Internet time. They have dial-up and they can’t get YouTube. But I definitely should be able to do my other stuff, most notably Twitter, Facebook and Myspace, but I won’t be able to get back on YouTube till that Monday morning.

Well that and my mowing job at the Historical Society will probably ensure that I will not get bored over the next couple of weeks.

July

Wow. Where did the summer go? I pretty much missed the entire month of July as far as blogging goes. I’ve been really busy with quite a few things, such as my work on my book. I have been working on that at the Historical Society mainly on Saturdays since they are open on Saturdays during the summer. I have also been working on some ideas for YouTube videos because I haven’t posted any new videos on there in a little over a month. Don’t forget I am still new to the world of Internet video making, but I am starting to find my footing.

Of course, it’s not like I have been idle these last few weeks. For one thing, I finally tried my hand at BlogTV and it was almost a near disaster. Thankfully, towards the end I started to get the hang of it and I did end up with at least one new subscriber for my YouTube channel. I haven’t really been able to do another show, partly due to technical difficulties and the fact that both timing and the weather have not been on my side. That and the fact that I had to go out and buy another tripod. So hopefully, soon, I will be able to go back and do another show, probably in the next week or two.

On the first week that I was at the Historical Society during their summer hours, I decided to bring my camcorder along because I had to film a lecture that I was planning to put on my Chester and Grace site, but once I got it home and uploaded it to the computer, it didn’t come out. An hour of footage and all I got was a white screen. I tried to break it down with the Movie Maker but it was no good. In the end, I had to get rid of the whole thing.

Also in July on opening night as a matter of fact, I went to see “The Dark Knight.” It was really awesome and lived up to the hype as being the biggest film of the summer mainly because of Heath Ledger as the Joker. It has also done excellent box office. It broke the record set by “Spider-Man 3” the year before and now people are saying that it has a shot at dethroning “Titanic” as the biggest film of all time. That is quite an accomplishment for a “Batman” movie.

I got an extra day off from work last night. I had arranged to take a personal day off from work so I could go and see a play. However, I ended up not going because of the fact that the play I wanted to go see was actually in Utica. So I just took advantage of the day off, even though I have to go back tonight, and you know how I feel about.

So, that is pretty much it from my end. I know I have been away for a while, but I hope to have some more things up soon.

Last Night Indy Saved My Life

He's back, everyone!

He’s back, everyone!

Hey, everyone. I just wanted to stop in really quick to post my latest entry. Nothing really went on during the week aside from the fact that I went to see the new “Indiana Jones” movie and that was the major highlight of this past week.

I arrived at the theater in Little Falls at 6:15 that night for the 7:00 showing and as it was with “Transformers”, I was able to get there ahead of the crowd. However, unlike “Transformers,” this was the second night that the movie was in theaters so I wasn’t the first one to plunk down money to see it. It did draw a huge crowd,ย most notablyย nostalgia-seekers who grew up on the original three movies like I did.

And my verdict on the latest movie, which is set in the 50’s, is that the movie was excellent. It definitely lives up to the hype that it is one of the summer’s biggest movies and it definitely is a worthy addition to the whole saga, especially for the die-hard fans who grew up on Indy such as myself. I am sort of bummed that it is getting some bad reviews especially when it debuted at Cannes last week. I thought that while it wasn’t as good as “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” it was definitely on par with “Last Crusade” and worlds better than “Temple of Doom.”

Today, I got to go to some more yard sales and I got some more clothes. There wasn’t really too much selection. I went to one in Herkimer, two in Mohawk, and one in Ilion. Actually, Herkimer is going to be having a village-wide yard sale in June. I also tried to put in for vacation time from work for the third week in June. I hope that I put the request in before they made the schedule up. And I do believe they approved my request for a personal day on August 4 so I can go see that play in Ilion that day.

This week on my to-do list includes deciding to put up a live video either today or tomorrow. I think I’ll do a movie review.

Oh, yeah, by the way. Indy didn’t literally save my life. I just decided to put that as an interesting title.
